Information we collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account (email address, password) and information necessary to register and manage domain names on your behalf (name, address, phone number as required by ICANN WHOIS policy). We also collect payment information through Stripe — we do not store card numbers on our servers.
How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account
- To register, transfer, and renew domain names on your behalf
- To process payments via Stripe
- To communicate with you about your domains (expiry notices, transfer updates)
- To comply with ICANN registrar obligations (WHOIS accuracy requirements)
Third-party services
AE Domains uses the following third-party services to deliver the product:
- Supabase — authentication and database storage
- Cloudflare — DNS management
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email delivery
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum information necessary with each provider.
WHOIS and registry data
ICANN requires registrars to collect and maintain accurate registrant contact information. Depending on your TLD, some of this information may be published in the public WHOIS database. Where privacy protection is available for your TLD, AE Domains enables it by default.
Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Domain registration records are retained for a minimum of two years after expiry as required by ICANN policy. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at support@aedomains.co.
